Oranges & Me

I love oranges! I love orange juice! Orange jellybeans are my favorite! So I guess it's safe to say that I love the flavor orange! I love lemons & lemon flavor even more! Usually, I can't find good tasting oranges and I hate to peel them! Min always finds good oranges and she always shares with me. Last week, she had brought some small tangerines (or whatever their name is nowadays...they have all sorts of names for them now) from Isabel's yard and they were so good. She warned Cherie & I that they had "seeds" so to be careful. I took several home and ate all of them over the sink so I could get rid of the seeds without a lot of mess. Cherie said she ate so many of them that her tongue was raw! They were so yummy. This morning Min was eating one and Cherie said, "Well, you do know that she takes the seeds out for Emma!" Since Min has peeled my oranges many times before I said, "I better not push my luck by asking her to bite the seeds out of mine- as it is she already peels mine half of the time!" lol Min said that Emma just thinks it's normal to have tiny bites out of them where Min has gotten the seed out for her!

For Christmas Timy bought Lisa a slideshow application for her computer. She was telling me that she loaded a few thousand photos on her computer but she could only figure out how to put one song on it and not several. She was going to read up on it and learn how to add more music so I told her that I would call her and tell her some of the music that I love. (You know me & music...I never get enough!) She said, "No, I don't want the ones you like...remember the ones I like!" I guess there's something to be said for knowing her for almost 40 years, huh???

Such A Stripper!

I was talking to Lisa the other day right before I got my nails done. She asked me what color I was going to get and I told her maybe "wet red" as Rudy calls it! lol I ended up getting a dark pink that is really pretty. When she was out here in April, she got acrylic nails on after seeing mine & Shea's. She then tells me that she likes to get sparkles on hers to which I replied, "Them are stripper nails woman!" We were laughing because I then told her, "Well, if we ain't got their legs, boobs, or anything else...heck, we may as well have their nails!" Come to think of it, my good friend, Patti Watti, always gets sparkles! She claims it's because she does so much filing at work but now I'm wondering why she's always "out" on Friday & Saturday nights when I call! Hmmmmm...get's a gal thinking!
