Can I Borrow A Cup Of Sugar...& More?

Time is ticking away as Christmas is coming quickly...parties, school obligations, Shea's Christmas plays, many of my party favor orders, Christmas tea at church, and on & on!!! Well tonight, my neighbor, Lori, made my night! I was rushed to get ready for my work Christmas party, on the phone with Amy and my doorbell rings. "Dang it!" I say out loud...and then I am instantly relieved when I see that it's Lori. I unlock the door and let her in, realizing that I am only in my bra & undies. (If it had been anyone else, I would have ran and thrown some clothes on- but I have known Lori for close to 20 years) I get off the phone and give her a hug to which she replies, "Gosh, you have great boobs"- So, she tells me that she's making fudge and needs some sugar. I open my pantry and take out what seems like 50 cereal boxes to get to my sugar. As I am putting some in a baggie for her, I turn to talk to her and she has pulled her pants down to her ankles and has her shirt pulled up totally exposing her bra to me!!!!! It was so stinkin' funny...I was laughing my butt off. She really did me such a favor because any bit of stress I was feeling just instantly went right out the window! I love that my friends know me well enough and love my sense of humor...sick as it is! All I keep thinking is...COFFEE, TEA OR ME???

Squeaky Clean

So...the girls at work are making fun of me once again! One of my many pet peeves is an empty or low soap dispenser. I think after all the years in medical and washing my hands a thousand times a day, I like to have soap...lots of soap...and a full soap dispenser. At home, it's one thing that I seem to do constantly, fill it up as we use it. The first thing I tell Shea to do, other than to take her shoes off, is to wash her hands. I'm not neurotic, I swear! I just like to keep things clean. At work, we have a small pump in the bathroom and it has just become routine that on Wednesday, I fill it up. We have a huge refill bottle and last week it went missing from the bathroom! It threw me when I could not fill it up last week. Well, I asked one of the guys where it was and he assured me that he would bring it back to the "girls" bathroom...which he did today. I made the mistake of telling Minda & Cherie today that I finally got to refill my soap dispenser and now they both are making fun of me saying to add it to my list of silly quirks! They said that it would have never occured to them to ever refill it unless it was completely empty. I told them that from now on, every time they wash their hands, that they had better be darn thankful that I am here. They both assured me that they are...yeah, right!!! Hey, it's important to keep our hands clean...you never know where they've been...well, actually we do...so again I say, it's important to keep our hands clean!!!

The Skinny Bitch!

Inside me lives a skinny woman crying to get out. But I can usually shut the bitch up with cookies. (Unknown)
