Crane VS Snow

Just when I think I am soooo done making friends...I don't need any more friends...I don't have time for any more friends (sounds so conceited, huh?)...I'm not looking for any more friends...period, end of story...right? Kendra & I have become fast buds at work. We clicked instantly and I love that she can handle me, just as I am, crazy sense of humor and all. So I was driving us to lunch when I heard her let out a squeal of sheer joy as she said, "Wow, look at that crane!!!" There was this huge crane assisting workers who were doing repairs on Ashland's main hotel. I couldn't help but giggle and when she saw that I wasn't as impressed as she was and I explained that we see them in LA every day. Isn't it true how things like that just become somewhat invisible after awhile? My reply to her was, "Well, don't make fun of me when I shriek with joy the first time I see snow falling!" Our surroundings sure make us strange, huh?
