My Favorite Songs & Music

Last Friday Shea & I attended a funeral service for a family friend. It was a difficult time for us because of the circumstances that involved his death. Without going into detail, it was just plain ol' sad for both of us. His daughter had chosen several of his favorite songs to play at his service which was very touching. On the drive home Shea & I were talking and saying what a nice service it was. Most of the people close to me know very well that I want to be cremated...and that never, under any circumstances that I would ever want to be buried! I just hate the thought of being stuck in that box until the end of time. I'm much to claustrophobic for that! I know that I will be in heaven and it won't matter much, but I'm not taking any chances! I did ask Shea what songs she would choose for me and she told me that it would be so easy! My two favorite Luther Vandross songs: "So Amazing" & "There's Nothing Better Than Love" (my ring tone on my phone that I hear), the new Point Of Grace song, "It's How You Live" and she giggled as she said, "You know Mommy, I will even play your all time favorite song- "Let's Get It On" even if we are in church!" She is a gem and the truth is that I know she would! Music is one of the things I enjoy most in life!
