Nana's Yarn
I stayed in all day today (Sunday) doing a lot of cleaning and sorting in my bedroom. They will start our bathroom remodel in just a couple of weeks so I really needed to focus on getting things done before that starts. As I was going through some things, I came across a bag of Nana's baby yarn and all of her crocheting needles. I always have such a hard time when it comes to letting go of the sentimental things that she loved so much. She always made such beautiful items and I still have so many that I truly treasure. I had bought a small bucket that has a pretty rose shabby chic look to it- it looks like it could be a small trash can but I would never use it for one. Instead, I put all the small balls of yarn that Nana had rolled up while she was still alive and rolled the rest of the yarn myself. It looks so sweet with all the yarn in it and I am sure that is what God made me buy it for. This way when I start to make something...I can just pick a ball of yarn out and go on my merry little way. Memories are good and when they are made with love, they are even better!
What really matters is what you do with what you have.
