I Am Easy - Really!
I know, I know...I'm the first one to admit that I can be a pain! I never think of myself as high maintenance...I can just be "complex" in a positive way. I am ok with bending and making compromises and I am getting much better at trying new things! The times where I really notice how "complex" I can be is when ordering food in a restaurant...remember "When Harry Met Sally?"- yeah, pretty much sums it up..."no sour cream- no tomatoes, but could I please get a side of ranch?" I just like food the way I like it, I don't see what the big deal is. The girls at work sometimes tease me (in a fun, non-threatening way) about my "strange ways" which I never see as strange or even slighty odd...until they call me on it. Then, I do sometimes have to stop & think, wonder & ponder what I've just confessed to. Yesterday, I was telling them how I hate to go to Costco and that a couple of weeks ago I bought 4 bottles of shampoo and 4 bottles of conditioner (the huge bottles) so that I won't have to step foot in there before the holidays. Somehow they got me talking and I told them that while in the shower, I wash my body with bar soap (Caress only) and then I use a "body wash" and wash again. You would have thought I said that I showered with my clothes on... Minda & Cherie both told me I was so weird! Minda also reminded me that I also have to "slather" myself in lotion- which I do...gotta keep my skin soft- again, I don't see her point! I would like to clarify that I am not weird, well ok, I am weird, but I just like to be clean! It's the same reason that I use a clean towel each & every time I take a shower- trust me, there is no changing that...ever! (Melinda- don't even go there!) I like a clean, fresh towel...yes, even though I am clean, double clean if you will, I still like a clean, fresh, soft, Downy towel! Anyway, I found this little 3 x 5 sign and had to buy it to put on my desk:
I'm not hard to please...I just like things my way!
C'mon...those of you who know me...understand...
